Fencing is one of the things we get asked about most, and it is very often a standalone job rather than part of a bigger contract. A yard needs securing, a boundary has been driven into, a site needs hoarding before work starts. We survey it, price it, and install it with our own teams.
We work across the range from heavy steel palisade on industrial perimeters through to timber acoustic fencing where noise or appearance matters. Where gates are involved we cover the civils, the posts and the ironmongery, and we will be straight with you about what needs a powered solution and what does not.
If the fence line ties into surfacing, drainage or line marking, that sits with us as well under External Works, so the kerb, the tarmac and the bay markings are not three separate contractors turning up in three separate weeks.
Why bring us in for commercial fencing.
Standalone jobs welcome
You do not need to be running a refurbishment to get us out for a fence. A lot of our fencing work is exactly that, on its own, priced on its own.
Our own teams
Fencing is installed by CPR teams working to our programme, not passed to whoever was available that week.
The ground works too
Post foundations, kerbing, surfacing reinstatement and line marking all sit in the same division, so the job finishes properly rather than stopping at the fence.
Questions we get asked.
Will you quote for fencing on its own?
Yes. Free site survey, fixed quote in writing, and no expectation that it turns into anything bigger.
What type of fencing do we need?
It depends what you are trying to stop. Palisade and weldmesh are the usual answers for securing an industrial perimeter; timber suits boundaries where appearance or noise matters. We will walk the line with you and recommend based on the risk and the budget rather than what we would rather install.
Can you fence a site that stays in use?
Yes. We phase it so the access you need stays open, and we can put temporary fencing or hoarding in while the permanent line goes up.
Do you install gates and access control?
We install vehicle and pedestrian gates including sliding, swing and bi-folding, with the civils and ironmongery. Where powered access control is wanted we will scope it with you as part of the quote.
