Grounds maintenance is the kind of thing that gets noticed only when it stops happening. We set a schedule, we turn up on it, and you get a note of what was done after each visit so you are not guessing.
It works whether you have a single unit with a strip of grass and a car park, or an estate with several tenants and a lot of boundary. Because we also do the fencing, surfacing and line marking, anything that needs fixing rather than tidying can be quoted without bringing in another firm.
Scheduled grounds contracts are run by our sister company, CPR Grounds Maintenance, which looks after business parks, warehouses and distribution centres, retail sites, offices, schools and healthcare sites across Leeds and West Yorkshire. As well as the routine cutting, trimming and weed control, they handle tree and vegetation work, turf and planting, and cleaning such as jet washing and gum removal, so one call covers the whole of the outside.

Questions we get asked.
Do you work to a contract or ad hoc?
Either. Most clients want a scheduled contract with an agreed frequency, but we will do one-off clearances and pre-letting tidy-ups as well.
Can you cover several sites?
Yes. If you manage an estate or a portfolio we will schedule the visits together and report per site.
Can you clear a site that has been left to overgrow?
Yes. Site clearances are a regular job for us, from an overgrown boundary before a letting viewing to a whole plot that needs bringing back into use, including tree and vegetation removal where it is needed.
Do you do jet washing and cleaning as well?
Yes. Cladding, yards, car parks and pathways, plus gum and graffiti removal and high-level gutters. See our jet washing and commercial cleaning page.
When should hedges be cut on a commercial site?
Late summer and autumn are usually best, and routine cutting during the main bird nesting season, roughly March to August, needs a check first because active nests are protected by law. We plan scheduled hedge work around that.
Do you do weed control on hard surfaces?
Yes. Weeding and spraying on car parks, footpaths, kerb lines and hard standings, as well as beds and borders, so weeds do not break up the surface or make the site look neglected.
Do you cover our area?
We work from two offices, our head office at Hunslet in Leeds and a second in Manchester, and between them they cover a band straight across the country: the North West, all of Yorkshire and the Humber, and the north Midlands down to Stoke, Derby and Nottingham. That is our day-to-day patch and most of our work is in it. Beyond that we regularly work in the North East, Cumbria and the Central Belt, and down through the wider Midlands, East Anglia and the South East, and we have delivered projects as far as Bristol.
