The brief.

Replacing 7,000 sq ft of roof over a building that is still in use is a safety job first and a roofing job second. Before anything was removed we installed workforce safety netting across the full span, so every operative working above the warehouse floor was protected and the business underneath could carry on.
The existing profile cladding was stripped out, the insulation replaced, and a modern composite panel system installed in its place. Composite panel does in one sheet what the old build-up did in three layers, and it performs far better thermally, so the building is warmer, drier and cheaper to heat than it was.
It is a plain description of a job that is anything but plain to sequence, and it is the reason clients with occupied buildings keep coming back to us.
