The brief.

The landlord's problem was simple and expensive: the unit was not letting. Prospective tenants were arriving at rust-streaked cladding, failing flashings and mismatched patch repairs, and forming a view of the building long before they reached the front door.
We removed the cladding and flashings from two side elevations and the front facade, took out the old insulation sandwiched between the sheets, and installed new Rockwool insulation and new cladding throughout. Windows and door shutters were carefully removed and set aside for reinstatement, cladding was formed around every existing opening, and colour-coordinated flat plates were fitted between the windows to the front.
New trim line powder-coated guttering finished the front elevation. A colour chart was provided to the client at the start, so the scheme that went up was theirs rather than ours.
