The brief.
Delivered asDilapidations, Cleaning, Electrical, Cladding Repairs
The managing agent, acting for the landlord, asked us to carry out dilapidation works to the former Altec unit as quickly as possible because interest in the building was high. A new tenant was secured while we were still on site.
We stripped out the previous tenant's high-level airlines, supplies, cable trays and sockets, isolated the electrics and tested the emergency lighting. The painted concrete factory floor was degreased with a ride-on scrubber dryer and resin repaired where machinery had damaged the slab, and we repainted blockwork panels around the perimeter. Outside, we cleaned the front elevation including the entrance canopy, cladding, windows and frames, removed the old sign and cleared the rear goods yard. We also traced and resolved two areas of water ingress through the cladding, then repaired the plasterwork and suspended ceilings they had damaged.
