We were approached to tender for the re-roof of a pharmaceutical building in the outskirts of Leeds. After a successful tender process, we worked intensively with the client and all other contractors on site to deliver the project on a non-negotiable timeline, all whilst keeping the factory & warehouse operational.

During the works we ensured the asbestos roof was removed with care, with a fully sealed scaffold crash deck below allowing us to work without interfering with the factory’s day to day operations. Once complete, we ploughed ahead with a modern roof refurbishment, which included:

• Twin skin roof system
• Full perimeter guardrail system
• KATT Ladder access
• Full solar array

We worked on the fly to adapt our scope as necessary in order to meet the clients tight deadline – imposed by impending breaches of insurance compliance – which ultimately allowed us to complete the project on time and to the clients satisfaction
