Project Brief
CPR were asked to provide a solution to improve the heat loss and the aesthetics of this church ceiling whereby they had had a suspended ceiling in situ from the 1970s.
We installed a large crash deck and undertook the strip out of the ceiling and de nailed all the old latt and plaster ceiling above to accommodate for our ridged insulation panels and plasterboard tape and fill finish. We were able to install the new ceiling whilst aiming to keep and bring back to life the lost timber beams that had been hidden for 50 years.
Once taped and filled we decorated the ceiling and walls to a lighter blue colour. Upon removal of the crash deck we gave the space a deep clean to remove all the dust in readiness for floor covering installations.
We had a long stop date of the 7th of September and we can boast that targets where achieved with weeks to spare.
